Program
Learn To Dive Lessons
The goal of the Learn to Dive Program is to provide the community with an opportunity
to learn and enjoy the sport of diving as well as to provide a safe environment for new
divers to improve their conditioning, confidence, and self-esteem.
The program offers a proven series of successful techniques that teach a progression of basic skills. Each class is designed to enhance balance/flexibility, strength and spatial awareness while learning the basic elements of the sport of diving. The first thirty minutes of each class is dedicated to dry land training, using USC's dry land training center which includes: 2 in-ground trampolines, a spring floor, and 2 springboards with ample mat pits. Additionally, each trampoline is equipped with over head spotting harness. Our qualified instructors are well-trained coaches and USA Diving Safety Certified.
The Learn to Dive classes are held at the state-of-the-art Uytengsu Aquatics Center,
